Project Overview

Sweat + Steam is a conceptual modern pastry and coffee bar that blends fuel and indulgence, a space where wellness meets comfort. Designed for active professionals and creatives, the brand celebrates balance: the rush of caffeine and the calm of recovery. The goal was to create an identity that feels bold, urban, and restorative, merging the energy of fitness culture with the warmth of a café.

Creative Challenge

The challenge was to merge wellness and indulgence in one cohesive system. The brand needed to appeal to both the go-getter grabbing a post-workout espresso and the creative unwinding with a pastry polished yet inviting, modern yet cozy.

 

Design Process

The logo features a refined wordmark accented with steam-inspired lines that convey movement and warmth. A minimal cup-and-droplet icon reinforces the connection between energy and relaxation. The color palette Espresso Black, Toasted Caramel, and Steam Cream creates harmony between strength and softness. Typography pairs a sleek sans-serif with a rounded secondary font for a clean but approachable feel.

Applications

The identity extends across packaging, menus, signage, and digital media, with matte finishes, warm tones, and subtle steam textures reinforcing the brand’s energy-meets-comfort theme.
